Amara Chen founded Capella Club to give University of Michigan alumni, parents, and devoted fans an elevated home base for gameday and graduation weekends in Ann Arbor. After years of working in hospitality and training as a massage therapist, she envisioned The Capella House as a place where the energy of Michigan football meets the calm of a private wellness retreat.

Our mission is to offer members a five-bedroom retreat just minutes from the Big House, complete with curated massage experiences and concierge-level support, so every visit to Ann Arbor feels both electric and deeply restorative.
